Our Story
Founded by Julia Finnis-Bedford in 2000, Amazing Spaces has grown from strength to strength over the past 20 years - always following one key mission: to offer the best service in the fastest time and fulfil any client brief.
At the time, there was no such thing as a location agency, and production companies did not have the resources to source - nevertheless manage - locations for their shoots.
And so, Amazing Spaces was born.
We have since grown to include short-term luxurious accomodation (Villas), venue hire for events (Venues) and most recently, luxurious, bespoke property sales (Lifestyle Investments).

Amazing Spaces Lifestyle Investments was borne from the need for our clients looking for a bespoke service offering that fulfils lifestyle needs and income opportunities in residential property. We understand not only what creates a unique space, but also how our high net-worth clientele approach property ownership.
Over 20 years we have built up a large clientele looking for a unique offering to lifestyle solutions – we offer beach houses, villas in the winelands, luxury architectural homes with sea views, or country homes.
We are proud of the relationships we have built over time that not only give us access to buyers, but also the amazing spaces that we represent that may be looking for a targeted marketing service for their property.

Meet The Founder
Julia Finnis-Bedford

Julia has been in the business of marketing beautiful locations for film and photographic shoots as well as top villa rentals through Amazing Spaces for over 20 years. Coming from a background of parents who started The Cellars Hohenort (then The Cellars Country House) in 1983, Julia understands lifestyle, hospitality and beautiful spaces, inherited from her mother.
Being passionate about property she has flipped properties, invested in various residential properties and turned them into incoming producing assets. Julia is in her happy place if she is surrounded by builders turning an ugly duckling into a beautiful space! Passionate about learning, connection and people, Julia is on the Board of the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation, developed an empowerment business called Mama Bongi making choc chip cookies, and has a residential property development of her own in Constantia.
Julia is optimistic, focusses on the future and is enthusiastic whilst having a practical and productive focus, making things happen. Julia loves running, a swim in Dalebrook pool, and spending time with her family (and grandchildren!).
