Noordhoek, translated to the ‘Northern Corner’, is about 35km from Cape Town. It is a seaside town known to have maintained a calm, rural atmosphere – a perfect breakaway destination. The area has been inhabited for well over a millennium, with the original inhabitants being the Khoisan and Strandlopers who lived on what the sea has provided.
Things to do in Noordhoek include visiting the Food Barn which is at the local Farm Village which has vibey cafe’s, gift shops and the famous Kristen’s Ice cream.
